The Division of Research and Graduate Studies (DRGS) was officially established on 1st October 1999 to spearhead graduate research and teaching programmes in the School of Design and Environment. It also aims to promote inter and multi-disciplinary research among the various disciplines of the Built Environment.
The DRGS (SDE) draws its research and teaching staff from the Department of Architecture, the Department of Building and the Department of Real Estate in a synergistic way, to offer a wide array of opportunities in research and teaching programmes.
Graduate Degrees either by coursework or research provide opportunities of advanced study in specialised areas of architecture, building and real estate including scientific aspects of environmental control, building operations, project management and property management.
